When restoring a backup on a secondary server using FileSync, the installer may fail at certain points. Sometimes an error message is generated that makes mention of the ZIP archive having not been unblocked after the download but there are other instances where the restoration process fails and FileSync is vague in providing further details as to the failure.
This can be a permissions based issue. It is possible that certain group policies in the environment are set to block files as they are decompressed.
After ensuring the FileSync .zip file is unblocked prior to extraction, you will also want to unblock the FileSyncService.exe file afterwards.
