SecureAuth IdP Version Affected: All
Description:
Certain WSFed applications like to read the Metadata of the IdP and this Metadata should include various details, such as the supported claims.
The standard Metadata that you can export from our Admin Console does not contains this information.
Cause: WSFed Metadata needs to be enabled
Resolution:
1. Open the Admin Console
2. Go to the Post Auth tab of the WS FED realm
3. Scroll down to WS-Trust Endpoint Configuration and click View and Configure WS-Trust Endpoints
4. Turn on the first 2 endpoints /2005/usernamemixed and /2005/windowstransport
5. Click Save
6. Use the following URL to access the Metadata https://awood05vm.example.local/SecureAuth28/FederationMetadata/2007-06/FederationMetadata.xml
(Replace the server name and realm number with your own)
