OIDC configuration with Tableau

Follow
    Applies to:
  • SecureAuth Identity Platform
Deployment model:
  • Hybrid
  • Version Affected:  All

    Description:

    Tableu's documentation says
"If your OpenID Connect IdP requires a specific authentication context, you can specify a list of essential and voluntary ACR values using the vizportal.openid.essential_acr_values and vizportal.openid.voluntary_acr_values configuration keys.

With these added in, the Tableu integration does not work

    Cause:

We do not support ACR values and so we do not give Tableu the expected reply.

    Resolution:

    1. Edit your Tableau configuration
    2. Remove the vizportal.openid.essential_acr_values and vizportal.openid.voluntary_acr_values entries from the Tableu config so it does not need an ACR in our reply.
