Version Affected: 20.06+
Description:
When setting a Policy in the new experience, the workflow options are different compared to the classic realms. For example, Username & Password is not an option
This article will describe how to achieve the same.
Cause:
We always prefer the User to have some kind of multifactor authentication but the Username & Password can be achieved with a tweak to your Policy
Resolution:
1. Create your new Policy
2. On the Authentication Rules tab, set both Conditions to skip MFA
3. On the Login Workflow tab, ensure Username&Password | MFA Method is set.
4. Assign the Policy to the desired app.
5. Even though the Workflow says it will prompt for MFA, the Authnetication Rules skip that MFA and gives the desired flow.
