How to add MFA Claim for Salesfore?

    Description:  

    Starting Feb 3, 2026, Salesforce will require users to perform device activation for MFA, which may lead to double MFA if user has already performed MFA via IDP.

     

    Cause:  

    MFA enforcement by Salesforce.

     

    Resolution:  

    Navigate to: Post Authentication tab > Under SAML Assertion / WS Federation section > Click on AuthnContext Class dropdown > choose one of the following:

    • MobileTwoFactorContract
    • PGP
    • Smartcard
    • TimeSyncToken
