Are image files unique to each Virtual Machine or Customer?

Follow
    Applies to:
  • Legacy SecureAuth IdP
Deployment model:
  • On Premises
  • SecureAuth IdP Version Affected:  All

    Description:

Are image files (e.g. OVA/OVF etc.) which are sent out to each customer for IdP, in any way unique, or tied in any way to the customer, the order or the virtual machine?

    Cause

When deploying multiple IdP appliances it is usually desirable to avoid having to download the image file multiple times.

    Resolution

The image files are generic and only differ according to hypervisor type e.g. Hyper-V, VMware, Xen, AWS, Azure.  Therefore the same image can be used repeatedly to deploy multiple appliances so long as there are enough activation codes available.
