Backup of SecureAuth Server Failing

Description:

When attempting to backup your SecureAuth Server using a third party tool, an error message is presented: 'Error: VSSControl: Failed'

Example:

Cause:

The Services required to complete the backup job are disabled.

Resolution:

Set the Services: Volume Shadow Copy and Windows Volume Shadow Copy Service to 'Manual'

Steps:

1.) On the SecureAuth Server, open up the Services Console. (Start, Run, Services.msc)
2.) Locate the Services Volume Shadow Copy and Windows Volume Shadow Copy Service.
3.) Right Click the Service name and set from Disabled to Manual.
