Description -

Error:

invalid viewstate error when accessing a SecureAuth realm. The error mentions "ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm.

Cause - The <machineKey> section is significantly different between the two load balanced servers.

The machine key in the Token Settings page is not the same and they should match on both server.

Resolution -

Copy and paste the machinekey from the Primary box over to the one getting the error message so that they match.
