SecureAuth IdP Version affected: All versions
Description: User encounters the following error during authentication:
"An error in the authentication has occurred. Please Try Again.
If the error persists, please contact your Administrator."
Cause: This can be caused by a number of things, but this is the default message that SecureAuth IdP displays whenever an exception occurs in the system.
Resolution:
1. Go to the Logs tab in the web admin GUI of SecureAuth IdP
2. In the Log Options section, switch the Custom Errors dropdown value from "On" to "Off", then click on the Save button.
Note: While this does not immediately resolve the issue at hand, turning off the Custom Error feature will provide you with a more descriptive error that will further assist you with troubleshooting.
