Follow
    Applies to:
  • Arculix
Deployment model:
  • Cloud
  • Description:

If the Device Trust hostname on a Windows or Mac Computer system is changed, Device Trust will update its hostname to reflect the change.  Therefore, it is not necessary to reinstall Device Trust after the hostname has changed.  You can check by using the following commands and confirming that Device Trust continues to work properly as expected:

sudo scutil --set HostName <new host name>
sudo scutil --set LocalHostName <new host name>
sudo scutil --set ComputerName <new host name>
