    Overview

This article explains how to check for threats detected on your network, if your license includes SecureAuth's Protect and Detect features.

    Check Threat Logs

    1. Enable threat data reporting: on the Admin Console's Adaptive Authentication tab, under the IP Reputation/Threat Data settings, check Enable IP Reputation/Threat Data. This reports threats to the SecureAuth cloud, which can then provide a summary of the threats detected over a given time period.

Admin Console Adaptive Authentication tab, IP Reputation/Threat Data settings, with the Enable IP Reputation/Threat Data checkbox highlighted.

    1. Make sure Audit Logging is enabled: on the Logs tab, under Log Options, check at least one Audit Logs option (for example, Text). The appliance logs every threat hit to the Audit log.

Admin Console Logs tab, Log Options section, with the Audit Logs checkboxes highlighted.

    1. If you have a syslog server or application, enable that as well. You can then run a query such as AE_IP_RiskScore>0 to find events where the AE_IP_RiskScore field is greater than 0.
