    Overview

    When performing a password reset in an Account Management or Helpdesk realm, the pop-up box that prompts for the new password does not take keyboard focus. As a result, any keyboard input is sent to the window behind the pop-up instead of to the password fields.

    Cause

    This is a known product defect, tracked as IDP-4165.
     

    Resolution / Workaround

    There is no workaround. IDP-4165 is planned to be addressed in a future release of Identity Platform.
