    Overview

By default, launching an app from the Secure Portal opens that app in a new browser tab. This article explains how to change that behavior so the app opens in the current tab instead.

Open Portal Apps in the Current Tab

    1. Go to D:\SecureAuth\SecureAuth<XX>\Themes, where SecureAuth<XX> is the Secure Portal realm.
    2. Copy the 2016 Light folder and give the copy a descriptive name, such as 2016 Custom.
    3. In the new 2016 Custom folder, go to directives\SecurePortal\portalGridList\.
    4. Edit portalGridList.html.
    5. Change target="_blank" to target="_self", as shown below.

portalGridList.html file with target set to _self instead of _blank.

    1. Save the changes.
    2. Open the Admin Console and select the Overview tab.
    3. Change the theme from 2016 Light to the new theme you created (for example, 2016 Custom).
    4. Save, then test.
