Are 3rd party authenticator apps supported for enrolling devices for MFA with SecureAuth?
Answer
Yes, but only for TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Passcode) enrollments, and only if the authenticator app is RFC 6238 compliant.
There are known issues with 3rd party authenticator apps in specific scenarios — see Troubleshooting: QR and URL Enrollment Fails with a "qrProvision verify exception" Error as an example.
