Troubleshooting: Webview2 Does Not Support Kerberos Authentication

    Overview

    When setting up an application for WindowsSSO (Kerberos authentication) that uses Webview2 controls, WindowsSSO does not work.

     

    Cause

    Webview2 does not currently support Kerberos authentication.

     

    Resolution

    As of this writing, there is no resolution or workaround for this limitation. Applications that need WindowsSSO must use a browser control other than Webview2.
