    Bug Number: SAIDP-882
Bug Status: Open - Workaround Available
    Fixed in Version(s): N/A

    Overview

When creating a Client ID in an OpenID realm, if a Name is not entered for the client at creation time, the resulting client has no link in the Clients list that an administrator can click to open, modify, or remove it.

The OpenID Connect/OAuth 2.0 Clients list, showing one client with a blank Name and no clickable link, next to a named 'Test' client that does have one.

    Cause

Because no Name was entered when the client was created, the Clients list has no display text to turn into a link back to that specific client's settings.

    Resolution / Workaround

Decrypt the realm's web.config and search for the affected Client ID value to find and remove that client's configuration section. Take a backup of the existing web.config before making any changes.

If you are a Cloud customer, open a ticket with SecureAuth Support instead of editing the web.config directly.

This issue is tracked as SAIDP-882.
