Troubleshooting: "typeerror: unable to get property 'id' of undefined null reference" Error

Overview

When adding a policy in the New Experience console, the following error occurs: typeerror: unable to get property 'id' of undefined null reference.
 
 

Cause

The D:\Secureauth\ApplicationApi\CloudContent folder is missing from the SecureAuth Identity Platform server.
 
 

Resolution

Do the following on the affected server:

1. Copy the entire CloudContent folder from a working SecureAuth Identity Platform server to the same path on the faulty server.
2. Run IISRESET.

Special Considerations

Simply creating an empty CloudContent folder at that path in step 1, rather than copying its contents from a working server, may be sufficient to resolve the error.
