Bug: Mobile Devices Missing After Upgrade (System.InvalidOperationException: Sequence Contains More Than One Matching Element)

    Overview

    After upgrading, some users are missing mobile devices they had previously enrolled. The error log shows System.InvalidOperationException: Sequence contains more than one matching element.

     

    Cause

    A mismatch in on-premises data caused issues with the migration logic used during the upgrade.

     

    Resolution / Workaround

    Upgrade to 21.04 Hotfix 11 or 22.02 Hotfix 5 or later to resolve this issue — the fix is included by default from 22.12 onward.
