Bug: Cannot Customize the "Hardstopped by Analyze Engine" Message Text

Overview

The message text "Hardstopped by Analyze Engine," shown to a user when Adaptive Authentication hard-stops a login attempt, cannot be customized.

 

Cause

This message text was hard-coded into the product, with no configuration option available to change it.

 

Resolution / Workaround

Upgrade to 23.07 Hotfix 5 or later (included by default starting in 24.04) to resolve this issue. These versions add a hardstop_message key that can be set using the Update Resource function on the Update Web Config page, allowing this message text to be customized.
