    Overview

SecureAuth IdP appliances have historically shown two certificates nearing expiration around the same time: the Client Cert, and a Service Cert issued to cloud.secureauth.com. This FAQ explains whether the Service Cert also needs to be renewed.

    Answer

No. The Service Cert is no longer used by SecureAuth IdP and will be removed in a future release. Only the Client Cert is used for communication with SecureAuth's Cloud endpoints -- the Service Cert's expiration date can be disregarded.
