Version Affected: All
Overview
After restoring the SecureAuth Authenticate app from an iCloud backup, push notifications and/or login requests can stop working, while Time-based One-Time Passcodes (TOTP) continue to work without issue.
Cause
The push notification token stored by the app is unique to each device. When the app is restored from an iCloud backup, it uses the previous device's token instead of generating a new one, so push notifications and login requests are no longer delivered.
Resolution:
Delete the SecureAuth Authenticate app from the device, then reinstall it from the Apple App Store. This generates a new, device-specific push notification token.
