Version Affected: 19.x and later
Overview
Over time, the SecureAuth RADIUS server gains additional functionality, fixes, and other updates -- upgrading keeps a deployment current with those changes.
Upgrade the SecureAuth RADIUS Server
- Browse to the installation folder of the current RADIUS server and back up appliance.radius.properties. On newer installations, it's in C:\Program Files\SecureAuth Corporation\SecureAuth IdP RADIUS agent\bin\conf\appliance.radius.properties.
- Download the latest RADIUS Server installer from SecureAuth Product Downloads, under Infrastructure Add-ons.
- Right-click the downloaded installer, select Properties, and make sure Unblock isn't shown in the lower right corner. If it is, check the box and select Apply to unblock the installer.
- Run the installer -- it detects the current version and performs an in-place upgrade.
If issues come up after the upgrade, contact SecureAuth Support by opening a ticket.
