Overview

ASP.NET DB can't write values to some property fields when McAfee Access Protection or Exploit Prevention is enabled.

Cause

McAfee Access Protection or Exploit Prevention is blocking ASP.NET DB from writing the update.

Resolution:

Confirm McAfee is the cause, then adjust its configuration rather than leaving it disabled:

1. Disable McAfee Access Protection and Exploit Prevention, and confirm the issue is resolved.
2. Review the McAfee logs, and adjust the McAfee configuration in your environment so it no longer blocks ASP.NET DB.
