Version Affected: 26.0 and later
Overview
The SecureAuth IdP Update Manager may show Failed to load manifest. instead of detecting the current server version.
Cause
Either https://downloads.secureauth.com/resources/saidpUpdater/manifest.json is inaccessible from the server, or the TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 cipher suite is not enabled.
Resolution:
Resolve whichever of the two applies:
- If https://downloads.secureauth.com/resources/saidpUpdater/manifest.json is inaccessible, fix the underlying network issue preventing the server from reaching it.
- If it is the cipher suite, open D:\MFCApp_Bin\Extras\IISCrypto.exe, enable TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384, and reboot the server.
