Overview
This article explains how to restrict the hours during which a user can log in to Amazon Workspaces through SessionGuardian. Work hour restrictions can be applied at either the project level or the individual user level, using the same steps below.
Set Work Hour Restrictions
- Log in to the SG Console.
- Go to the Security Group for the project or user you want to restrict.
- Open the Work Hours Restriction tab.
- Edit the work hours as required.
- Click Update to save your changes.
Special Considerations
Document any changes to work hour restrictions for tracking purposes. If a user needs an exception from their restricted hours, obtain approval from a supervisor or project manager before making the change. If a user reports being unable to log in outside of expected hours, verify whether work hour restrictions are applied at the project level, the user level, or both.
