How to Disable the Update Button in Self Service or Helpdesk Page


SecureAuth IdP Version Affected:  All

Description:  You want to make the Self Service page Read Only so that users cannot make changes to it, or you want to publish a read-only version of the helpdesk page for non-admin staff to use.


Cause:  The button is hard coded in the ASPX file, and requires changes to the code in order to "hide" the Update/Save button.


Resolution:  For Self Service page, edit the Authorized\AccountUpdate.aspx file:

For Helpdesk, edit the Authorized\ManageAccounts.aspx file:


For the Helpdesk page, the green field will still be visible, but will not perform any actions when clicked.
