We are sorry to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to begin the End-of-Life (EOL) process for Core Vulnerability Insight.

Our decision to discontinue this product is necessary due to shifts in technology, diminished market demand, and a change in focus and investment. There will not be a direct replacement for Core Vulnerability Insight within the SecureAuth product portfolio.

End-of-Life notification that announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life of a product is distributed to customers.

End-of-Life and End of Support and Maintenance

End-of-Life (EoL)- The last date that SecureAuth engineering may release any final software maintenance releases or bug fixes. After this date, SecureAuth engineering will no longer develop, repair, maintain, or test the product software. And the last date to receive applicable service and support for the product as entitled by active service contracts.

VI EOL FAQ:

Q. What about new features or requests for enhancements?

A. There will be no new feature developments beyond the 5.7 release.

Q. When is the last day for expansion orders?

A. The last day to add additional devices licenses is 1 year prior to EOL date.

Q. Can I renew maintenances?

A. Yes, product maintenance and support can be renewed but only through the EOL date.

Q. I have an existing service agreement, can I still get support?

A. For customers with active and paid service contracts, support will be available under the terms and conditions of existing service contracts.

Q. What product options are available?

A. While there are no plans to provide a direct product replacement you may contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss other product options.

Q. What about security and bug fixes for VI?

A. During the End-of-Life Support and Maintenance phase, Critical impact security issues and urgent priority bug fixes may be released as they become available. Other security issues and bug fixes may be delivered as appropriate.

Q. What versions of VI will be supported through EOL?

A. The latest two version Vulnerability Insight 5.7 is the only version that will be supported through EOL. Any critical security or bug fixes will only be made available in 5.7.x.

Q. Can I upgrade to the latest VI 5.7 version?

A. Customers with active and paid service contracts will be able to upgrade to the latest version. Please work with your CSM to engage Professional Services to scope the engagement.

Q. How will I get support for Vulnerability Insight?

A. Nothing will change with how Vulnerability Insight customers contact and access support.

Q. What about my upcoming renewal?

A. Customers are able to renew service contract up through but not past the EOL date. Please contact your Customer Success Manager for details.
