ZenDesk SP-Initiated Integration

SecureAuth version affected: 8.2 +

Description:

The ZenDesk integration does not get redirected to properly and still prompts to login.

Cause:

The ZenDesk redirect URL could be missing a piece, as not directed from the original tutorial

Resolution:

Simply append /agent to the end of your ZenDesk URL.

 

  1. If the client is not able to pass over to their ZenDesk app without having to sign in again, it could possibly mean that their ZenDesk company URL is incorrect.  Below are the screenshots of the login page you would see if you are not passing the correct information for ZenDesk.



  2. To remedy this,  check the ZenDesk company URL to ensure agent is appended after https://company.zendesk.com.  If not, just simply append it like so in the "SP Start URL".  This could be in post authentication for v9.0 or workflow for most older versions.


  3. Once those changes are done, go ahead and refresh the portal page to reflect the proper URL


  4. Then click on ZenDesk and you should now be properly routed!
