File Sync Errors

SecureAuth IdP Version affected: All



There will be some registry error codes, such as application log error event ID 1530 and system error event ID 7000, when attempting to start the FileSync service after installation.  


The FileSync service requires Internet connection to verify license information by contacting the cloud service.


Change the parameter of "generatePublisherevidence" by flipping the flag to "false"

  1. Open up the FileSyncService.config file

  2. Change the value of generatePublishevidence from false to true.

  3. Restart the FileSyncService and it should run successfully now.  Happy syncing!
